A scraper (10) for plowing and gathering earth specifically adapted to fit to the front end of a skid steer vehicle (12). The scraper includes a frame (22) for holding a scraper bowl (44). A caster wheel (118) assembly is coupled to the front end of the scraper frame (22) and is adapted to cause the scrapper bowl (44) to adjust to the terrain. A hydraulic actuation assembly is arranged to lift the scraper bowl (44) to carry its contents from a first site to a second site. A gate (56) is coupled to the front end of the scraper bowl (44) to capture the contents of the scraper bowl (44) when its contents are moved from a first site to a second site. An implement quick-attach assembly is also provided for coupling the skid steer vehicle (12) to the scraper frame (22) in such a way that the frame (22) can be made to pivot to vary the pressure between the earth being traversed and the cutting blade (54).
