The cleaning jet, for sewage pipes etc., has a jet body (100) with a rotating jet head (104) on a shaft (106) and a pressurized water feed (102) through a hollow zone (107) to the jet opening (118). Two ceramic disks (108,110), of Al2O3, are at the hollow zone as a friction brake to throttle the shaft rotation.
