A cooling device (100) for a wind turbine is provided, the cooling device (100) comprising at least one liquid-tight tube (110) which is partially filled with a liquid coolant (120), wherein one end (112) of the tube (110) is located in a first area and another end (114) of the tube (110) is located in a second area, the first and second areas having different temperatures when operating the wind turbine.
