Methods and devices for manufacturing a stuffed product having twisted portions, including: discharging a content from a stuffing tube (3) and stuffing the content in a casing (5), moving a stuffed casing (7) in a content discharging direction, applying an adhesive (21) to the entire part of the stuffed casing (7) or to the outer periphery of the portion of the stuffed casing (7) forming a twisted portion (7a), squeezing the start position of the twisted portion (7a), and forming the twisted portion (7a) having the adhesive (21) applied thereto by the rotation of the stuffed casing (7) having the adhesive (21) applied thereto. The methods and devices are capable of eliminating the application of the adhesive agent to the stuffed casing after the formation of the twisted portion (7a), and manufacturing the stuffed product with the twisted portions which are not untwisted continuously at high rate.
