A device for making and at the same time dispensing whipped cream or the like from liquid cream or the like has an outside case (11), in which there are accommodated a motor (23) at the bottom and, above it, a receiving trough which is surrounded by insulating material (12) and is closed off at the top by an insulating lid (29). The drive shaft (28) of the motor (23) extends through a bore in the insulating material (12) and the receiving trough (13) to a cream pump (17) which is arranged in the interior of the receiving trough (13) and whose suction side is connected to a cream intake pipe (19) and whose delivery side is connected to a conversion member (21). Provided in the interior of the receiving trough (13) are superchilled refrigeration elements (27) which can be removed easily and rapidly, are situated in the receiving trough (13) in such a way and are in such contact with the liquid cream container (15), the pump (17), the conversion member (21) and any connecting pipes that the cream is only cooled down to a temperature above freezing. <IMAGE>
